Glenda Joan Lee Dugger, 89, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024, at Redbanks Colonial Terrace in Sebree, KY.
She was born on July 1, 1935, in Mortons Gap, KY, to the late Sophia Page Lee and Thomas Elvie Lee. She enjoyed gardening and decorating. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Glenda was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Sacramento, KY.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-four years, James Allen Dugger; son, James Glenn Dugger, Sr.; numerous brothers and sisters; grandson, Stephen Andrew Tomes, and a great granddaughter, Bessie Mae Paige Tomes.
Survivors include her son, Robert (Marcie) A. Dugger of Jacksonville, FL; daughters, Rachel Dugger, Linda Ruth Tomes, and Sherry (David) Pierce, all of Madisonville; eight grandchildren, Jay (Jennifer) Dugger, Jon (Olivia) Tomes, Marshall (Pam) Harris, Colin (Angelyn) Dugger, Ben Adams, Wilda Pierce, Katie Tomes, and Cory Adams; twelve great-grandchildren, Sage Harris, Anna Hickle, Fisher Harris, Chloe (Dylan) Sutton, Ashdyn Dugger, Steven Tomes, Alila Tomes, Zane Tomes, Jase Dugger, Rowan Tennant, Andy James Adams, and Natasha Adams; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, 5817 Fort Campbell Blvd. Hopkinsville, KY 42240 with Pam Lee Miller officiating.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
