The Kentucky governor, Andy Beshear, has added several individuals to the Kentucky boards and commissions on Friday. The appointed members include those native to Madisonville, Owensboro, and Central City.
Madisonville native, Andy Belcher, was appointed as a member of the Murray State University Board of Regents to serve for the term expiring in December of 2030.
Belcher is an educational administrator for the Hopkins County Board of Education and has replaced Virginia Gray.
Owensboro native, James Glenn, was reappointed to the Commission on Human Rights.
Glenn is a retired educator who is representing the 2nd Supreme Court District and will serve for the term expiring in September of 2027.
Owensboro native, Philip Travis, was appointed to the Advisory Council for Medical Assistance to serve for the term expiring in December of 2028.
Travis is a healthcare administrator for Wellington Parc Health Systems and is representing the Kentucky Association of Health Care Facilities as a member. He has replaced John Muller.
Central City native, Ronald Poole, was appointed to the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy.
- Poole is a pharmacist of Poole’s Pharmacy Care and is representing licensed pharmacists as a member.
