Julia (Judy) Alleda Haynie Baldwin 79 of Hanson, KY passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 15, 2025, surrounded by her family at Baptist Health Deaconess, in Madisonville Kentucky. She was born October 2nd, 1945, in Blytheville, Arkansas to Chester P. Haynie and Susie T. Haynie. She was a longtime member of the Providence Rural Community Church in Hanson, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Chester P. Haynie Jr (Butch), and her son, Brian K. Baldwin. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ronnie G. Baldwin, a daughter, Michele Baldwin, Bowling Green KY, sons, Jeffery (Leigh) Baldwin, Clarksville, TN and Bradley (Melanie) Baldwin, Hanson, KY and by her grandchildren Tyler Baldwin and Hannah Baldwin (Jeffery/Leigh), and by her step-grandchildren, Lawson Tapp and Isabella Tapp (Bradley/Melanie), and by her brother, Roger Haynie (Kathy) along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Judy was a 1963 graduate of Madisonville High school. She was a homemaker and she enjoyed gardening, cooking, quilting, riding around with her husband in their classic cars, and sitting in the breezeway with Ronnie watching all the activity outdoors. She was a very loved and cherished wife, mom, grammie, aunt, mother-in-law, and sister. She leaves behind many loving friends and family.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday March20, 2025 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home and Crematory Madisonville Chapel with Pastor Brent Waltrip officiating.
Burial to follow at East Lawn Cemetery in Hanson, KY. Pallbearers will be Kent Baldwin, Scott Baldwin, Jeffery Baldwin, Tyler Baldwin, Bradley Baldwin, and Lawson Tapp. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cary Baldwin, Paul Haynie, John Baldwin, and Jason Baldwin.
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the New East Lawn Cemetery fund.
We would like to thank all members of Judy’s healthcare team: including the Mahr Center, 3 East, Hosparus Health and her doctors, nurses and staff who extended her precious life.
We are comforted knowing that she is completely healed and in the arms of Jesus.
