Raymond Earl Kelley, 74, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away at his home on Sunday March 23, 2025, with his family by his side.
Mr. Kelley was born in Henderson, KY, the son of the late, Mr. Willie Tilden Kelley and Mrs. Hattie Lee Garrett Kelley. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael; his sisters, Norma Jean Kelley, Jaunita Stone, and Ruth Carter, his brother, Thomas Kelley, and his grandson, Vance Flener.
He attended Lafayette Baptist Church; he retired from Asplundh Tree Service after 40 years of service where he was a hard worker and excellent provider for his family. He liked riding motorcycles and working on cars, he liked being outside working in the yard, spending time with his grandchildren, and sitting on the porch.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Regina of Dawson Springs, KY, their sons, Jimmy and Danny Kelley both of Dawson Springs, KY; grandchildren, Dakota Kelley, Destanie Kelley, Chevelle (Kody) Headen, great grandchildren, Laythin Lynn, Novalin Forbes, Everence Forbes, Harlem Carter, and Vallyn Offutt; and his sister in law, Anna Kelley of Hanson, KY; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Wednesday March 26, 2025, in the Lucille Melton Memorial Chapel at Lewis Funeral Home LLC in Providence with Bro. Ralph Alexander and Bro. Frank Hill officiating with burial to follow in the Lafayette Baptist Church Cemetery in Hopkins County, KY.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 26, 2025, from 10:00AM until the service hour at the funeral home.
