The 32-year-old country superstar said that the surprise proposal took place at the historic George Jones estate, and while she initially doubted Hodges would propose that day, Wilson was taken by surprise and described the setting as ideal. “He had it all set up,” Wilson recalled. “He had the candles and the picture frames, and it could not have been more perfect.” Wilson shared images from the romantic moment on Instagram at the time, and now reveals that the couple “hadn’t even started planning” the wedding yet. “We really need to sit down and make that a priority.
