Two persons are being charged with sex crimes. They are 29-year-old Sierra Ausborn of Madisonville and 33-year-old Dustin Ausborn of Murray. The crimes were committed against their 6-year-old daughter. The investigation including having the little girl explain to the police what had happened to her. Sierra Ausborn is in the county jail. Channel 14 is reporting that Dustin Ausborn was arrested in Murray and will be brought to Madisonville to face charges.
In Madisonville, all of the canines who assist the officers now have their own ballistic vests. The M-P-D is very appreciative to Amercan Legion Post 6 for their gift to the department.
In Washington D-C, Congressman James Comer says the Presidential Ethics Reform Bill will be voted on by the Oversight Committee. He says the committee found that the Biden family received tens of millions of dollars from rogue individuals and countries and then laundered the money via a series of transactions through shell companies before reaching the accounts of ten family members.
The organization formed for the civic, cultural, and educational benefit of Muhlenberg County is asking residents to make suggestions for philianthropic endeavors. The Felix E. Martin Jr. Foundation will be welcoming ideas for grant applications through October 21st.
In Madisonville, on stage seating will be the rule when the chamber music series begins this evening at 7. The performer will be violinist Eunice Kim.

The National Weather Service says mainly dry conditions will prevail through next week.
A swerving car in the middle of the night tends to attract a lot of police attention. During the traffic stop on South Madison Avenue, the officer noticed a clear baggie containing a white substance in the Dodge Dakota being driven by 36-year-old Danny Encinias (inn-suh-NEE-us) of Hopkinsville. The drug dog Loki located a substance thought to be meth. Encinias denied ownership, but moments later, the officer located a baggie in Encinias’ pants pocket. He was also found to be driving with a suspended driver’s license. Altogether, Encinias faces 7 charges. His passenger was 41-year-old Timothy White of Madisonville. White is charged with possessing meth and drug paraphernalia.
The city of Madisonville is preparing for a small business roundtable event at city hall. Here is Deputy City Administrator Brad Long. It’s on the morning of September 11th at 8.
A highway project to to improve safety and visibility in northern Muhlenberg County begins Monday. KY 181 will approach KY 81 at a much safer angle. . Under its current configuration, KY 181 merges with KY 81 at a sharp angle, creating limited visibility issues. The project should be completed by Thanksgiving.
In Greenville, the lawn of the Summer House is about to be decorated with 2-thousand, 977 American flags. The Tourism Commission says they will be put in place to honor each soul lost on 9-11.
